The Demeter brand is a control and certification system that guarantees that marked food products or their ingredients come from biodynamic crops or farms.

The Demeter brand carries out a careful control action on the production, transformation and marketing of biodynamic products, following each stage of the supply chain up to the issue of certification and labelling, thus defending the brand from any abuse and denigration.

Today the Demeter brand is present with its certification bodies in 43 countries, coordinated by Demeter International, based in Germany.

To obtain the certification and the Demeter brand, a necessary condition is that the farm is subject to control for Organic Agriculture and that it respects the rules and methods for plant production (use of compounds and preparations, prohibition of genetically modified materials, etc. ).
